Hello, Friends. Three notes:First, a reminder that Outreach is "hosting" this month's "Meeting for Eating" potluck this Sunday, so there will be lunch for us all after Worship even if you don't have time to prepare a dish to share!Second, a note from our Quarterly Meeting clerk about John Hardiman:Jane, When I read the minutes today everyone was struck by the spirituality of John Hardiman's life. Jonathan Vogel Bourne mentioned his involvement in NEYM as well. The feeling was that his memorial minute may be one we want to send on to NEYM, and we should discern that in April....

John Vincent Hardiman 6 April 1923 - 28 April 2009 Westerly Monthly Meeting lost a Friend, John Vincent Hardiman, when he passed away after a short illness on April 28, 2009. John was a lifelong peace activist, environmentalist, and tireless promoter of social change and justice. One Friend described him as an individualist who was keenly aware of oppression in our society. John was born on April 6, 1923 in Whitesboro, N.Y. to John Arthur Hardiman and Mary Josephine (Soper) Hardiman. He and his siblings were orphaned at a young age. Memorial Minute for Andrei Loskoutov June 10, 1953- December 31, 2008 Andrei Loskoutov was born in Zagorsk, Russia on June 10, 1953. When he was about five, he moved with his family to Ukraine. He later attended the Institute of Culture in Kiev, Ukraine, where he studied film production and writing. He acted in several plays, played guitar, and was a canoeing champion.
